shoot: at the airport

the shuttler watched as the couple in front of her embraced each other tightly, for it would be a good whole year before one of them returns. she watched as the group of grown up men gathered for a group hug as one of them would also return only in a year's time. she watched as the family stood by the gates, silently watching him say his goodbyes to his friends. cameras flashed and clicked as they tried to capture the last few minutes before he stepped beyond those glass doors. the shuttler watched as the couple, now separated by the glass door, exchange loving glances at each other, knowing fully well that each of them are now apart. she watched as he went around hugging his friends, thanking each and everyone of them sincerely for coming to send him off.

the shuttler watched as his eyes fell on a particular petite girl as she waved goodbye to a dear friend. she gave a half hearted wave as he walked through the aisle beyond the gates, and soon beyond her sight.
