it had been raining the entire day, no matter which area she had been. nothing serious like a typhoon of any sorts, but that persistant drizzle that did not let up was quite a mood damper.
she stood along the streets while her travelling partner busied himself shopping in the stores. it was a men's store, and he definitely didn't need her to help him choose his clothes. he knew his clothes well, and it showed well on him.
just a slight drizzle. she stood in the corner of the store, watching the people hurry along the streets, huddled under the umbrella. going home to a nice and warm home cooked meal after a long day in the office perhaps. out of the corner of her eye, she saw an old lady stamping her foot on a little soda can, and chucking it into a basket she dragged along behind her. the ironies of life.
she glanced into the store. he was at the counter paying for his purchases. a smile crept upon her face as she barely remembered them fighting over mundane stuff in their growing years. now he's become her travelling partner, someone who offers to carry her shopping bags, pushes the heavy luggage and well, takes care of things.
but to her, he will always remain the same little kid who fought with her over every single thing they could fight about. no matter how old he grows up to be.
