barely three weeks into the new year and the shuttler already has a bad vibe about the year.

2008 had been a year where the shuttler found herself to have grown a little - in interpersonal relationships, in friendships, in knowledge and clinical skills, in managment practice, in self restraint and even that irritating flabby tummy due to her sedentary lifestyle. and yes, the shuttler is one hell of a lazy slob who rather spends her time paying off her sleep debt (and accumulating some ahead of time, since she doesn't get enough during the work week!) than to work those pathetic, almost non-existent muscles of hers.

but it also did see the shuttler being dragged along to the gym to work those muscles out a little towards the end of the year and setting a new year resolution (which she hasn't really been following, despite it only being about three weeks into the new year...) to use the gym thrice a week. a weak attempt to maintain a healthy lifestyle, to keep some of those muscles working and prevent herself from turning into a slob. weak but at least an attempt of some sort still.

work had been pretty satisfying most of the year, with plenty of opportunities to develop the shuttler's career. however, the missed opportunity did mar the otherwise clean record a little and the shuttler was indeed disappointed at how things turned out. but like they all say, there's always the next chance.

on the other aspects of the shuttler's life, she doesn't have much to comment about. some things are better left unsaid. others have no need to be said. so that's that.

the shuttler hopes that 2009 would turn out to be a much better year, not taking into consideration how the first three weeks had turned out to be.

happy new year folks. may you have a good year ahead!
